This week, The Last of Us

The Last of Us is a TV show that premiered on Jan. 15, 2023. The show is based on the hit game that came out June 14, 2013. In the game, there are humans that are infected by a fungal virus that broke out and quickly ruined the world. The situation was attempted to be taken care of but what came from the virus eventually overtook what was left of the human population. This show brings out all of these small details and makes them huge. Creators of the show detailed the story they wanted to tell in so many ways, by changing small things so as to not be an exact copy of the show. Details were changed to make it both distinct and more realistic than the game. They revitalized the story by changing the dates so the audience could be living through the situation with the characters. In the next coming weeks we’ll be introduced to new characters who help the main characters get through their obstacles. We see a bond form between the characters that will make the audience grow emotionally attached to them. If you haven’t watched the first couple of episodes, watch them and fall in love with the characters as they grow out of their shells.
