Girls Varsity Soccer compete at the Humble ISD Showcase
Grand Oaks Girls Varsity Soccer Team competed at the Humble ISD showcase on Jan. 5, 6, and 7. The girls started their Tournament on the Thursday playing against Kingwood where they lost 1-0. The following day, they were able to redeem themselves and won 2-0 against Lake Creek High School. Their first goal was scored by sophomore Ashlynn Sharp and assisted by junior Jorja Bragg, and their second goal scored by junior Lauren Kaufman and assisted by junior Ashley Aguilera. On Saturday, they ended the showcase, winning 1-0 against Copperas Cove with a game winning goal scored by junior Lauren Kaufman and assisted by junior Jorja Bragg.
The Grand Oaks Varsity Girls Soccer Team will be playing in the Governor’s Cup Varsity Tournament in Georgetown from Jan. 12-15.
